The Mitex General Xtreme Twin Pack + 1 Wire Acoustic Earpiece is a set of two robust, heavy-duty two-way radios that work with existing Mitex models (Mitex General, Mitex Pro and Mitex DMR). It also comes with 2 1-wire acoustic earpieces, which are discreet and high-performing. The clear acoustic tube can be changed easily to suit different users and it comes with an inline lapel mic and PTT button. Not to mention, it is compatible with all Mitex two-way radios. Take your clear-cut communications one step further.
IP66 rating for outdoor use
With an IP66 rating, the walkie talkies are resistant to dust, water and vibrations, making them suitable for industrial, working and outdoor environments. Take your radios everywhere with you. Rest assured that they are guaranteed to last.

The maximum range given by manufacturers is based on ideal conditions, such as from hilltop to hilltop, but the range you actually get will be much less if you are in a built-up area. Trees, walls, hills and even the weather can affect the range of your two-way radio. The rule of thumb is that for every 1 watt you will get 1 mile of coverage guarantee, or more depending on the conditions.
