The Mitex General Xtreme Twin Pack + D-Shape Earpiece is a set of two robust, heavy-duty two-way radios that work with existing Mitex models (Mitex General, Mitex Pro and Mitex DMR). It also comes with 2 D-Shape Earpieces, which is comfortable and high-performing. The speaker sits over rather than in the ear and it is compatible with all Mitex radios. If this wasn´t enough, the earloop comes with an inline PTT button and microphone. Take your seamless radio communications one step further.
IP66 rating for outdoor use
With an IP66 rating, the walkie talkies are resistant to dust, water and vibrations, making them suitable for industrial, working and outdoor environments. Take your radios everywhere with you. Rest assured that they are guaranteed to last.

The maximum range given by manufacturers is based on ideal conditions, such as from hilltop to hilltop, but the range you actually get will be much less if you are in a built-up area. Trees, walls, hills and even the weather can affect the range of your two-way radio. The rule of thumb is that for every 1 watt you will get 1 mile of coverage guarantee, or more depending on the conditions.
