Communicating better in difficult environments
The Motorola DP2600E VHF is one of the most scalable solutions for digital walkie-talkies. With intelligent audio and voice announcements, it allows easy communications in the most difficult work environments. The backlit display offers a simple navigation menu with quick access to your contacts. The DP2600E is also interoperable in analogue, allowing easy migration to digital.
IP network connection
This walkie talkie uses the IP network (such as the Internet) to extend MOTOTRBO’s voice and data capabilities. Use it to link up to 15 sites, for communications between geographically dispersed locations, to create broad coverage or improve coverage in a place with physical barriers. Through interconnected repeaters you can increase the coverage significantly, to use your walkie-talkies in very large areas or difficult locations.
Protective case
The Motorola DP2600 E software stands out, as its housing is resistant to impact (MIL-SPEC). Besides, with an IP67 rating, it has increased its protection against water and dust.
Enhanced sound quality
Improved sound quality and intelligent audio automatically adjust the volume, to compensate for background noises. In turn, they avoid sound losses in situations with noisy environments. TAs a result, the DP2600E guarantees intelligible conversations, with digital sound quality.
Interoperability analogue and digital
The Motorola DP2600E operates in both modes, with features like the repeater that dynamically mixes both modes, which speeds up the switch between analogue and digital calls.

This Motorola two-way radio is available to be programmed as:
- VHF: 136 – 174 MHz
The maximum range given by manufacturers is based on ideal conditions, such as from hilltop to hilltop, but the range you get will be much less if you are in a built-up area. Trees, walls, hills and even the weather can affect the range of your two-way radio. Rule of thumb is that for every 1 watt you will get 1 mile of coverage guarantee, or more depending on the conditions.
