RTX8830 Robust IP65 Cordless IP Handset

The RTX8830 is a robust IP cordless handset for use with the RTX8630 DECT VoIP system. 

Supporting HD audio through the G.722 codec and offering wideband speakerphone, this handset delivers top quality sound whether used conventionally or in handsfree mode. Plug your headset into the 3.5mm jack for another usage style.

The 2-inch LED TFT colour display makes this handset easy and attractive to use, providing access to your local phonebook into which you can add up to 250 entries.

IP65 water and dust resistance means the RTX8830 is completely protected from dust ingress, as well as being able to survive jets or splashes of water from all directions. This handset also has a generally robust build, so it will survive knocks and shocks better than other phones.

The alarm/man down function makes this an ideal option for use in expansive workplaces like hospitals, industrial areas or any lonely worker environments, where help may not be otherwise quickly at hand. When deployed as part of the RTX8630 system, the DECT 50 metre indoor and 300 metre outdoor range will cover most of these workplaces, but if not then repeaters can be used to further enhance your signal.
